I am an Environmental Science teacher for grades 9-12 in Dekalb County. This is my second year as a teacher. Environmental Science is the multidisciplinary study of the environment and human influences. Understanding the Earth's physical, chemical, biological, and geological processes requires integrating scientific methods and disciplines, including physics, biology, chemistry, geography, and mathematics. Environmental Science aims to apply its knowledge to creating solutions for environmental issues like pollution, global warming, and deforestation. In short, Environmental Science studies how the Earth's natural environment works, how humans impact it, and how to solve environmental problems.
