“Action is the foundational key to all success.” - Pablo Picasso
I love teaching anything that connects with us and everything around us. Believe it or not, everything we do is linked to the environment and its reaction. Students will see more as we navigate these significant components in the class, and my goal is to go above and help you understand the concept. Students will play a crucial role in this process. My students will be working on their own for the most part, but seeing the outcome and how much they will learn and accomplish on their own will be worth seeing. My students would know more by researching independently, collaborating with classmates, and exploring. My personal big goal is that I want my students to do their best, give their 100% no matter what, never give up no matter what, be the best in independent learning, and learn their self-discovery. No, they do not have to get all the answers right or know everything. It is there for their knowledge while respecting others' opinions and views, mainly because I know they can do it, no matter what. My students will do these by getting various tasks, including self-assessment and reflection, projects, quizzes, presentations, and participation, which will be utilized to evaluate their progress. Each of them will have a chance to demonstrate their comprehension and creativity. This will help them become the best independent learners, collaborators, and students. I am always here for them for anything but do not forget to try exploring on their own first, then ask their classmate if needed, and if they still need more assistance, I am here for them.
The three (3) core values, not only in the classroom, play a crucial role in my life, such as Respect, accountability, and Forgiveness. These values are essential for each one of us. I will be extra strict when it comes to implementing these values. My goal is to see each of my students implement while in my class and outside of class, and I hope for you to become the best person out there, not only as a student. Respect has always been the most important thing, no matter who you are, what you are, what you do, and so on. Remember to "Give respect, take respect, and treat everyone equally and how you want to be treated." I say this because I want you guys to feel safe, respected, valued, cared for, loved, and heard from your perspectives. Accountability becomes crucial as we grow older, and it is very serious for you guys in High school. If I am expecting things from you, know it is suitable for you, not for me, your friends, or anyone. It teaches you how to express, ask questions, and take specific responsibilities seriously. My ultimate goal is for you to be accountable for your actions and personal and academic development. The last significant value is Forgiveness, a fundamental value we all should embrace. It's a concept that can reassure you, my students, that making mistakes is acceptable and an integral part of the learning process. It's not about repeating mistakes to avoid consequences but learning from them.
